Telc - a renaissance architectural jewel - is amid a beautiful hilly countryside and lakes. This was once a royal water fort founded at the crossroads of major trade routes. Its renaissance appearance has remained intact up to the present after a devastating fire. There is a guided tour around lavishly decorated interiors of the chateau with its coffered ceilings. You can admire the large central square, which is lined with gabled houses. They have different facades adorned with frescoes, graffito or later baroque and rococo sculptures.
